Placing speakers
The speaker layout below shows the speaker setting we recommend.
• 5.1-channel speaker layout
FL: Front left speaker
FA: Front right speaker
C: Center speaker
SA: Surround right speaker
SL: Surround left speaker
SW: Subwoofer
• 2.1-channel speaker layout
FL
FL: Front left speaker
FA: Front right speaker
SW: Subwoofer

You can enjoy 2. I-channel playback using two front
speakers and a subwoofer. Also, you can enjoy surround
playback using the AIR SURROUND XTREME function
of this unit (n' P. 38, 51).

You can enjoy multi-channel sources by using a
speaker combination other than the 5. I-channel or
2.1-channel speaker combinations.
