TROUBLESHOOTING
YOUR COMPUTER DOES NOT DETECT YOUR USB ADAPTER
You may need to install a driver onto your computer to allow your USB Adapter to operate.
Please visit the Downloads section of the product page on the NetComm Wireless website to
download. www.netcommwireless.com/product/wifi/NP920
1.
Download the appropriate zipped driver folder from the NetComm Wireless website to
your computer.
2.
Right click on the folder and select the Extract To option, choosing a location to extract
the files to.
3.
Open Device Manager (Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager
> Network Adapters) and select the Broadcom 802.11n Wireless USB Adapter.
4.
Select the Driver tab and press the Update Driver button.
5.
Select the Browse my Computer for the Driver Software option from the Windows
Driver Update.
6.
Browse to the folder you previously extracted and press the Open button. Windows
should detect the appropriate driver and install it.
7.
Follow the onscreen instruction to complete the installation.
Note: This USB Adapter does not work with any Mac operating systems. All recent Macs have dual band WiFi built-in as a feature.
CANNOT ESTABLISH A WIFI CONNECTION
Ensure you are connecting to the correct WiFi network and that your WiFi router and WiFi
USB Adapter are using the same security settings.
