Send a Message via Contacts

You can send an SMS from the Contacts.

On the home screen, select Menu > Phonebook >
Contacts. Select the contact. Select Option > Send

message.

Enter the message and select Option > Continue.

Select Send message to send the message OR
select Add recipient to add another recipient.
Call or Save a Number Embedded in a Received Message
It is possible to call a number embedded in a received
SMS.

Select Menu > Messages > Inbox > open the
message containing numbers.
Select Option > Save number. The number is

Select Option > Dial OR Select Option > Save.

Manage Your Messages

The inbox, outbox, sent and draft folders displays the
number of stored messages in parenthesis.

Inbox

The Inbox stores and displays all the incoming messages.
To access the Inbox, select Menu > Messages

> Inbox > Select. The Inbox displays a list of
messages.
Scroll to a messages and select Option to view the

following list of options.
View: You can view the message.
Reply: You can send a message to the sender of that
message.
Forward: You can send the message to another
recipient.
Delete: You can delete the message after reading it.
Delete all: You can delete all the messages.
Save number: You can save the numbers present in
the message. You can also dial or send a message to
the numbers (this option is displayed only if the SMS
text contains any number).
Archive to SIM: You can save the message in your
SIM card memory (this option is displayed only if the
SMS storage location is Mobile phone).
Move to favourites: You can save the message in My
favourites folder. These will be stored in the phone
memory.
Details: You can view the details about the message
such as storage location and time of receipt.
Dial: You can call the sender of the message.
Smart search: You can search for a message based
on the Name, Number or Time.
Select multiple: You can select the messages one by
one or select all the messages at one go.

To open a message, scroll to a message and press
the menu key.

After a message is opened other functions can be
performed. Select Option to list the following options:
Reply, Forward, Delete, Save number, Move to
favourites, Details and Dial.
