Menu > Settings > Profiles > General tab > Silent >
Option > Activate to activate this profile.
Alarm tone will be played even in Silent profile.
Languages
You can change the phone's interaction language by
selecting your preferred language. For example, select
Menu > Settings > General tab > Languages > English
to display all menu items, user feedback messages and
text entry language in English.
Time and Date
You can set and display the date and time on the phone.
You can also select the display format. The time zone can
also be set for local settings and foreign settings.
The date formats supported are YYYY/MM/DD,
YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY.MM.DD, DD/MM/YYYY,
DD-MM-YYYY, DD.MM.YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY,
MM-DD-YYYY or MM.DD.YYYY. The time
formats supported are 24 hr and 12
You can view the time of major cities in different time
zones using this function and set the time on your phone
to a selected time zone. You also have the option to use
Daylight Saving Time (DST).
The local time or the international time is displayed in the
lower half of the screen. Use the navigation keys to view
various time zones.

To view the international clock, select Menu
> Settings > General tab > Date and Time >
International clock > Clock status > On. The
international clock is displayed on the idle screen.

To set your local time, select Menu > Settings >
General tab > Date and Time > International clock
> Local settings > Option > Set time > Change
time. Enter the time and select OK. To set the local
date, select Option > Set time > Change date. Enter
the date and select OK.

To set Daylight Saving Time (DST), select Menu
> Settings > General tab > Date and Time >
International clock > Local settings OR Foreign
settings > Option > Daylight saving > On.

To switch between local and foreign settings, select
Menu > Settings > General tab > Date and Time >
International clock > Switch local/foreign > OK.

To view the city list, select Menu > Settings >
General tab > Date and Time > International clock
> Local settings OR Foreign settings > Option >
City list.

Auto Update: This feature allows the phone to
automatically adjust the time to the time and date
details sent by the network. Please note that this
feature has to be supported by the network. The
following options are available for the user:
hr.
Always: Whenever the time and date information
is received from the network, the phone adjusts
its time and to that value.
Never: The phone ignores the time and date
information sent by the network
While not roaming: The phone adjusts the time
automatically, only if it is operating in home
network.
