9. Remove the 9 bolts and inverter terminal cover.
Caution:
Wear insulated gloves.
10. Check the voltage at the terminals in the
inspection point in the power control unit.
Caution:
Wear insulated gloves.
To prevent serious injury or death, do not
proceed with dismantling of the HV system
until the voltage at the terminals in the
inspection point is 0 V.
Standard voltage: 0 V
Hint:
Set the tester to DC 750 Volts measure the voltage.
This inspection is performed to verify that it is safe to
remove the HV battery.
11. Cut the rear center seatbelt.
12. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
(1) Disengage the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion
from the vehicle body as shown in the
illustration.
(2) Disengage the 2 guides of the seat cushion
from the seatback.
(3) Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
