Purpose
Selects the color theme of menu displays.
Turns off the display automatically after
several minutes of inactivity: "ON," "OFF."
Selects the keyboard type: "QWERTY +
123," "QWERTY," "ABC."
Locks the unit by setting a 4-digit numerical
password to prevent unauthorized access:
"ON," "OFF." Once activated, you will need
to enter the password when you turn on the
unit.
To activate, select "ON," enter the password,
reenter the password to confirm, then select
"OK."
To deactivate, select "OFF," enter the
password, then select "OK."
Changes the password for locking the unit.
Enter the current password, enter the new
password, then reenter the new password.
Resets settings to default.
Views the ID number and status (cradle
connection, etc.) of the unit.
Views the detailed GPS status information.
Views the firmware version.
Views the information of the currently
inserted "Memory Stick Duo," such as used/
free space; formats the "Memory Stick Duo."
To format, select "Format" c "OK"
repeatedly.
– "Automatic Demonstration": Sets to start
the demonstration automatically after
several minutes of inactivity: "ON," "OFF."
– "Start Demonstration": Starts the
demonstration.
Registers destinations in Favorites.
– "Store Track Log": Logs your position at
regular intervals while driving, and stores
the data on a "Memory Stick Duo" inserted
in the unit for later use on your computer,
etc.
– "Delete All Track Logs": Deletes all track
logs stored on a "Memory Stick Duo."
