Power management

The maximum power consumption of a BX400 S1 system unit depends on the number and type of PSUs which
are equipped in the system unit. It is important to distinguish here between the PSUs which can be seen in the
Navigation Frame, the number of PSUs which are actually activated (item Available PSUs in the Information /
Operation → Operation → Power Management → Configuration → Power Consumption Options box), and the number of
fans which fill the PSU bays without PSU.
The example below is based on a system unit with 2 activated PSUs, as can be seen on the Information / Operation
→ Operation → Power Management → Configuration page. In addition to these 2 PSUs, 2 fans are also used (see
figure).
