State Cause
flashing. The DSC/ASR regulation is
operating.
fixed. Unless it has been deactivated
(button pressed and its indicator lamp
on) the DSC/ASR system has a fault.
fixed. The emission control system has a
fault.
flashing. The engine management system has
a fault.
fixed, associated with the A minor engine fault has been
SERVICE warning lamp. detected.
fixed, associated with A major engine fault has been
the STOP warning detected.

Action / Observations
The system optimises traction and improves the
directional stability of the vehicle.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT or a qualified
workshop.
The warning lamp should go off when the engine is started.
If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or qualified
workshop without delay.
Risk of destruction of the catalytic converter.
