MANUAL CONTROL
The Rehabilitation Treadmill combines a straightforward control panel design with a variety of features and options.
METRIC MODE
The Rehabilitation Treadmill comes standard displaying English units and can be changed to display metric units by pressing
SPEED "-", GRADE "-", and "START" simultaneously while treadmill is off. Then press STOP. Repeat same steps to return back to
English units.
AUTOMATIC SCAN
Automatic Scan Mode allows you to view each of the six displays continuously. To enter Automatic Scan Mode, depress the DISPLAY
button until the display advances by itself. In Automatic Scan Mode, the display advances every 5 seconds. Press the DISPLAY
button again to exit Automatic Scan Mode.
VARIABLE ELEVATION OVER-SPEED PROTECTION™
To prevent treadbelt over-speed at speeds below 0.5 mph, Landice has developed a Variable Elevation Over-speed Protection™
system. It automatically adjusts elevation based on treadbelt speed. See table below for VEOP™ parameters:
0.0 mph or Pause Mode
0.1 – 0.4 mph
0.5 – 12.0 mph
Optional Features:
REVERSE
The REVERSE button allows user to switch treadbelt direction from forward to reverse and vice versa. The
Rehabilitation Treadmill will run in reverse when REVERSE button is pressed and red reverse light is illuminated.
REMOTE START/STOP SWITCH
The remote START/STOP switch functions exactly as the PAUSE button on the Control Panel. Press the remote
START/STOP switch to place the treadmill in pause mode. All statistical information will be preserved. Press the
START/STOP switch again to resume at previous speed or 1.0 mph, whichever is lower. Normal treadmill operation
can also be resumed by pressing either the START or the PAUSE button from the Control Panel.
Always hold remote start/stop switch when treadmill is being operated in the reverse mode.
ACCUTRACK CONTACT HEART RATE MONITORING SYSTEM™
The AccuTrack™ contact heart rate cross-bar automatically detects pulse when user holds onto the metal contacts. To view your
heart rate, press DISPLAY until Pulse is selected. Then grasp the metal pulse contacts and wait 4-8 seconds for your heart rate to
be displayed.
The AccuTrack™ system is designed to be used at walking speeds. A natural running motion involves using your arms to maintain
balance. Since contact heart rate systems require your arms to remain stationary, we recommend using the system only at speeds of
less than approximately 4 mph (6.4 km/h) or the fastest speed at which you are comfortable walking.
