Sensor monitoring
Any fault in a temperature sensor is detected. Should this happen, all fans run
at maximum speed to ensure the highest possible cooling of the hardware.
Voltage control
All important voltages provided from the PSU are controlled.
Also voltage of the Lithium battery is supervised. If one voltage exceeds or falls
below its upper/lower threshold value, an alert is generated and stored in the
System Event Log (SEL).
System Event Log (SEL)
System events only will be logged during OS runtime. All monitored events of
the system board are signalized and recorded in the System Event Log. They
could be retrieved in the BIOS Setup or via the ServerView Operations
Manager.
