If Your PC Has a Hardware Problem

CD-ROM Drive Does Not Work

1 Check that the cables have been properly connected.
2 Check that a CD-ROM is inserted in the drive.
3 Verify that the CD-ROM is declared as "CD-ROM" in the Setup
program (refer to the "IDE Devices" submenu (Advanced menu
group) in the HP Setup program, accessed by pressing
startup).
4 Verify that the
