Create a rhythm track
with the rhythm pattern function

The JUNO-G contains a rhythm
machine!
The JUNO-G can play patterns just like a rhythm machine. It's
easier to come up with ideas for your song when you've got a
rhythm going.
A popular rhythm machine: the BOSS DR-880
The rhythm machine inside the JUNO-G doesn't look anything like
the DR-880, but it's defi nitely a powerful tool for song production.
Let's get started!

Tr y changing the tempo!
The tempo is an important element of
song. You'll probably want to adjust
he tempo even during the process of
reating a song. On the JUNO-G, simply
press the [TEMPO] button to access
he tempo screen, and turn the dial.
When you've specifi ed the tempo you
want, press the [TEMPO] button again
to close the tempo screen.

Use the rhythm pattern function
to play patterns
Press the [RHYTHM PATTERN] button; the rhythm pattern screen
appears.
In this screen you can select a pattern to use in your song. Listen
to the diff erent patterns, and choose the one that's closest to what
you have in mind.
For more details, refer to "Playing Rhythms" (p. 79) in the
owner's manual.
You can also
set the tempo
by pressing the
[TAP] button
at quarter-note
intervals of the
desired tempo.
Turn the dial to
select a style.
Press these buttons to start the
pattern! Within the style you
select, there are six variations,
assigned to PAD 1–6.
Turn the dial to
change the tempo.
