Attaching and removing the HDD to the DX-NT400E

Make sure that the POWER button on the front panel and the MAIN switch on the rear panel are both turned OFF
when attaching or removing the HDD tray.
Do not remove the top cover of the unit.
HDD is very delicate and even a small shock may damage the internal components of the HDD. Handle the HDD with
care.
Do not use an electric screwdriver when attaching the HDD. Vibrations and shocks caused by an electric screwdriver
may damage the internal components of the HDD.
Do not place the HDD on a desk or a table directly. Put a thick cushion under the HDD because even a small shock
may damage the internal components of the HDD.
Your understanding is requested for the failure of recording or playback due to the malfunction of the HDD or the unit,
or the malfunction caused by attaching, removing, or replacing the HDD.
When the protection sheet is stuck on the attaching part of the HDD tray on the front of the unit, remove it before
using.
Following are HDDs of which interoperability with this unit is ensured. This information is as of June 2003. Supply of
these HDDs may be stopped or they may be changed without notice by their respective manufacturers. Consult your
dealer for the latest information or use of other HDDs. When you attach 2 HDDs, normally use the HDDs of the same
capacity and the same model name.
