The System Locks menu allows you to set and use locks.

The System Setup menu provides several features that help you set up and
maintain the system.

IMERS ENU
The Timers Menu allows you to set up the receiver to tune in a future "event,"
that is, a program. If you have a VCR connected to the receiver, you can set up
a timer to start recording a program on the VCR. See page 34 for more
information.
