DS-KZCCA-CB Installation Procedure
Use this installation procedure if your system type is VAX4000-500A, -
505A, -600A, -700A or –705A.
Removing System Cover
After the system has been shut down, and power has been removed from the
system, open the lower system door. Using a phillips head screwdriver,
release the CPU access cover by turning the retaining screws ¼ of a
revolution counter-clockwise.
Remove the cables from the CPU module, and carefully remove the access
cover by lifting it slightly and gently pulling it toward you. Consult your
system documentation for more information regarding accessing the system
internals.
