SATA/SAS Connections
Serial ATA Ports
There are six Serial ATA Ports (I-SATA1~I-SATA6)
located on the motherboard, including four SATA2
ports and two SATA3 ports. These ports provide
serial-link signal connections, which are faster than
the connections of Parallel ATA. See the table on
the right for pin definitions.
SAS2 Ports
Eight Serial_Attached_SCSI Ports (SAS0~3, 4~7)
located on the motherboard to provide serial link
connections. These ports are supported by the LSI
SAS2 2308 Controller. See the table on the right
for pin definitions.
