Processor and Chipset Overview Built upon the functionality and the capability of Intel E5-2600(v2) Series Proces- sors (Socket R LGA 2011) and the C602 chipset, the X9DRG-HF/X9DRG-HTF motherboard provides the performance and feature sets required for dual_proces- sor-based 1U or 2U GPU server platforms. (See note below for processor support.)
X9DRG-HF/X9DRG-HTF Motherboard User’s Manual Special Features Recovery from AC Power Loss The Basic I/O System (BIOS) provides a setting that determines how the system will respond when AC power is lost and then restored to the system. You can choose for the system to remain powered off (in which case you must press the power switch to turn it back on), or for it to automatically return to the power-on state.
It is even more important for processors that have high CPU clock rates. The X9DRG-HF/X9DRG-HTF motherboard supports SMC-Proprietary 62-pin, 38- pin, 20-pin power connectors and 12V 8-pin/4-pin power connectors. In areas where noisy power transmission is present, you may choose to install a line filter to shield the computer from noise.
X9DRG-HF/X9DRG-HTF Motherboard User’s Manual The Super I/O provides functions that comply with ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface), which includes support of legacy and ACPI power manage- ment through an SMI or SCI function pin. It also features auto power management to reduce power consumption.
