USB AND SD/MMC MODE

Playing the contents of an MP3 player or USB
memory stick
1 Switch the device to standby with »ON/OFF«.
2 Connect the USB interface of the MP3 player to the »USB«
socket on the device, using a standard USB cable
or
insert the USB plug of the USB memory stick in the »USB« inter-
face on the device.
2 Switch on the device by pressing »ON/OFF«.

Press »M« to open the main menu.
4 Select »USB« with »
– Display: »Initialization Please wait«. After-
wards, the first three folders of the USB medium are displayed.
The last line shows the number of the selected folder and the
available folders.
– If no USB source is connected, »No Device« appears in the
display.
5 Select the album with »

6 Press » « to start playback.

– Playback starts with the first track of the first album.
Playback functions
The following playback functions are available in USB mode, as well
as in CD mode (see pages 34 to 38):
– Repeat one (»INTRO/REPEAT
– Repeat all (»INTRO/REPEAT
The following playback functions are not available:
– Resume (» CLR«)

– Random (if you press

Note:
The USB interface on the device does not have a connection for
a USB extension cable and is not designed for directly connect-
ing up to a computer.
