OVERVIEW ____________________________________________ The display ä ALBUM INTRO CD-RW Shows the energy remaining in the batteries in four stages. ä In MP3 or CD-DA mode – a file or a track is repeated. äALL In MP3 or CD-DA mode – repeats all files or a CD.
POWER SUPPLY ___________________________________ Mains operation (with mains adapter) Note: Check if the mains voltage on the mains adapter type plate corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the device from the mains supply is to unplug the adapter. Only unplug the mains adapter from the socket when you are not using the device.
PREPARATION ______________________________________ Connecting the earphones. Connect the earphones to the » 0« socket on the CD player (ø 3.5 mm). Note: Excessive volume can be dangerous to yourself and other road users. Listen at a volume which still allows you to hear outside noises such as V O L U horns, emergency vehicles and police cars clearly.
BASIC FUNCTIONS ______________________________ Inserting a CD The device is suitable for music CDs displaying the logo shown here (CD-DA) and for CD-Rs and CD-RWs with audio data or MP3 formats. As well as standard 12 cm CDs, it can also play 8 cm CDs without an adapter.

When naming files in MP3 format, do not use any special characters as they will not appear on the display.
