Description
Hard drive:
■ 500-GB, 7200-rpm
■ 500-GB, 7200-rpm for use only with HP Compaq 6545b and 6445b models
■ 500-GB, 7200-rpm for use only with HP Compaq 6540b and 6440b models
■ 320-GB, 7200-rpm for use only with HP Compaq 6540b and 6440b models
■ 250-GB, 7200-rpm
■ 160-GB, 7200-rpm
Solid-state drive (includes bracket):
■ 160-GB, 2.5-in solid-state drive—for use only with HP Compaq 6540b and 6440b models
■ 128-GB, 2.5-in solid-state drive—for use with all models
Before removing the mass storage device, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
