Receiving text messages, incoming message list

Notes on receiving a text message
New text messages are indicated by a message on the display, flashing of the message
key f and by a confirmation tone for on all handsets with the same receive MSN.
The date and time (transferred from the SMS centre) are indicated for each text mes-
sage received.
The incoming message list contains only those text messages sent to a receive MSN to
which your handset is assigned. If no MSNs have been set up, then all text messages
received are shown on all handsets.
Unread messages appear before read messages in the received messages list. Each cat-
egory is then sorted by the time it was received: oldest unread message, ..., newest
unread message, oldest read message, ..., newest read message.
Linked text messages are displayed as one message. If an incoming linked message is
too long or has not transferred completely, it will be split into individual messages and
stored in the incoming message list.
Opening the incoming message list
The incoming message list shows you:
all received messages,
messages that could not be sent despite several attempts. These messages are all
stored with an error status (page 62).
