Error message
No Media • Cannot detect media.
Unformat • The media is formatted in an unsupported format. Format the
media on DN-700C or set the format to FAT16 or FAT32. For
details, see the operation instructions of the recording media.
Media Full • The remaining space on a media is running low. Replace the media
with a new one or delete files that are no longer required.
File Not Found • Target file does not exist. Check the file.
VBR • This error message appears when a VBR file search is performed.
Search cannot be performed on VBR files. The remaining time of a
file is not displayed either.
Already Exists • A file with the same file name already exists. Change the file name
and then press the jog dial to enter the data.
• Key Restricted • Key lock is activated. To operate DN-700C, cancel the lock.
• All key Locked
IR Locked • Remote control operations are locked. To operate the remote
control, cancel the lock.
Not allowed • This appears when an invalid operation is performed. Check the
details of the operation because the operation may be invalid due
to other setting items such as the preset menu etc.
Err Format • Format the media on DN-700C or set the format to FAT16 or
FAT32. For details, see the operation instructions of the media.
Err Media X • The media is not compatible with the DN-700C. Replace with
compatible media.
ErrUpdateFile • Error in upgrading a file or file system.

Err FlashROM • Error in flash ROM.

Err Network • An error has occurred in the network connection. Check the
network connection.
Track Not Found • The target track does not exist. Check the media.
Some files are • Some file operations were skipped because files with the same
skipped name exist. Check the file name.
Password Error • Password authentication failed. Check the password.
