Configuring a new dial-up connection
The installation program created and configured a connection icon to the ADSL (My computer - Dial-
Up Networking).
If you want to configure other connections or change any ATM settings, the procedure is the same as
that already given for Windows ME (see 3.4.3).
3.6.4
Uninstalling the modem
! Switch off the modem by unplugging the power supply cable either on modem side (connector
marked PWR), or on the mains side.
! In the Windows 98SE Start menu, select Programs then SAGEM F@st 1000 and finally
Uninstall F@st 1000.
Confirm the removal when Windows prompts you.
! Click OK; the following screen appears:
WARNING: you must switch off the modem before rebooting the PC
The modem is uninstalled.
