● Keep the telephone away from your body.
● To the extent possible, reduce the number of calls and their
duration.
● Avoid using the cellular telephone in areas where the signal is
poor.

it, abide by legal provisions.
● Apply special caution to the use of cellular telephones by
children and ensure to instruct them as needed.
● Limit the use of cellular telephones by children.

What is a cellular telephone
A cellular telephone is an electronic device, which enables
wireless communication over radio waves. For this purpose, the
cellular device is equipped with a receiver and a transmitter, which
maintain its connection to the closest base station in its vicinity.
The base station includes antennas for radio signal transmission
and reception. In the process of cellular communication, both
cellular phones and base station antennas produce radio emission.
The level of radiation emitted by the cellular device is far weaker
than the level emitted by a cellular transmission center (cellular
site), but as a handset is normally held close to the body, the RF
energy is directly absorbed from its antenna. Cellular telephones
operate in a frequency range of 800 – 2,200 MHz and the maximum
power output of a typical handheld cellular phone is 0.6 watt.
