    Water resistance guide In order for your Xperia™ active to be water-resistant, the covers of the micro USB port and the headset connector must be firmly closed. Also, make sure that the back cover and the battery cover are attached correctly. The Startup guide provides instructions on how to correctly attach the battery cover and the back cover.

    Getting started Assembly To remove the back cover and the battery cover Insert a thumbnail into the gap under the headset connector cover and the micro USB port cover, then lift up the two covers. Insert a thumbnail into the gap (as shown in step 2 of the illustration above), then lift up the back cover slowly but firmly.
