orderdesired.Becertainoven
bottomis replacedsonotchis at
right,and "feet"onbakeunitrestin
depressionsinpanel.Replace
broilerreflectorso "openside"is
towardbottomofoven.
Cleanthe area underthe drippans
ofien.Built-upsoil, especially
grease,maycatchf~e. Tomake
cleaningeasier,theplug-insurface
unitsare removable.
Terminals
@ Wipearoundtheedgesofthe
surfaceunitopeningin the range
top.
Cleanthe areabelowthe unit.
Rinseall washedareaswitha damp
clothor sponge.
Caution: Be sureallcontrolsare
turnedOFFbeforeattempting to
cleanunderthecooktop or removing
theCalrod"unit.
To remove:
* Raisethe unitcoiloppositethe
receptacle.Liftaboutoneinch
abovethetrim ringandpullaway
fromthereceptacle. C aution:Be
surethecoilsare coolbefore
removing a Cdrod" unit.
o Afterremovingtheplug-in
surfaceunit, removethe trim ring
anddrip pan to cleanunderunit.
To replace:
o Placethedrip panin the surface
unitcavityfoundon topofthe
range.Lineup the drippan so the
unitreceptaclecanbe seen.
o
Put thetrim ringintoplaceover
thedrip pan. Note:Thedrippan
mustbeunderthetrim ring.
o Inserttheterminalsof theplug-in
unitthroughthe openingin the drip
panandintothereceptacle.
~Guidethe surfaceunitintoplace
so it fitsevenlyand fitssnuglyinto
drippanor trim ring.
o Do notattemptto cleanplug-in
surfaceunitsin an automatic
dishwasher.
o Do notimmerseplug-insurface
unitsin liquidsof anykind.
o Do notbendthe plug-insurface
unitplugterminals.
~Do notattemptto clean,adjust
or in anywayrepairthe plug-in
receptacle.

maymakea simpleadjustment i n
thethermostat(OvenTemp)knob.

notchchangestemperature10
degrees.
Toadjustoventhermostatfor
eitheroven:
1. Pull offOvenTempknobfor
ovenneedingadjustment. L oosen
bothscrewson backof knob.
2. Movepointeronenotchin
desireddirection.Tightenscrews.
3. Returnknobto range,matching
flatareaof knobto shaft.
Recheckovenperformancebefore
makingan additionaladjustment.
