Names and Function of Each part

1. Power LED light
2. MICROPHONE-INPUT jack
This is the balanced input terminal with XLR Jack. This allows the use of XLR
type plugs.
1 is GND, Pin 2 is HOT, and Pin 3 is COLD.
Microphones requiring phantom power supply (like condenser microphones)
can not be used. Use a dynamic microphone.
3. MICROPHONE-TONE control
This controls color of microphone pre-amp's tone. Turn right to enhance high-
end and turn left to enhance bottom.
4. MICROPHONE-VOLUME control
This controls the output level of the microphone pre-amp section. Adjust this
to a level where the sound will not be distorted or cause unwanted feedback.
5. CD/AUX-INPUT jacks
This is an RCA jack. It is designed to be connected to the headphone output
of a portable CD or MP3 player, or similar device. Use an RCA plug cable to
make connections. Use the volume control of your portable CD player and
MASTER volume to adjust the volume.
6. MASTER-REVERB control
This adjusts the level of the internal spring reverb. This affects the sound of
the GUITAR and MICROPHONE inputs.
7. MASTER-VOLUME control
This controls both guitar signal level to power amp and also MICROPHONE
and CD/MP3 gain levels.
8. INPUT jack
1/4" phone jack input.
9. MODE switch
This selects Natural mode or Shaped mode sound characteristics. Natural
mode reproduces unprocessed natural tone whereas Shaped mode delivers
enhanced bottom and high-end by scooping mid-range frequencies it is en-
gaged.
10. GUITAR-VOLUME control
This controls the output of the guitar pre-amp section. Unwanted noise is best
controlled by increasing the guitar volume and lowering the amplifier volume
rather than the reverse. Lower this volume if distortion occurs because of high
output of guitar or high EQ settings.

11. 3 BAND EQ w/Parametric Mid BASS/MIDDLE-LEVEL/MIDDLE-
FREQ/TREBLE
Refer to the spec sheet at the end of this manual for frequencies and levels.
12. CHORUS-DEPTH Control
This adjusts the depth of the chorus effect. Turning the control toward the right
will deepen the effect.
13. CHORUS Switch
This is the ON/OFF switch for the chorus effect.
*This effects only guitar channel.
14. CHORUS-SPPED control
This controls the ripple speed of the chorus effect. Turn this control to the right
to increase the speed.
15. FOOT SWITCH jack
IFS2X foot switch (sold separately) can be connected here, and used to
switch Chorus and Reverb on or off.
*Remark: While the foot switch is connected, the amp's Chorus switch will not
function.
16. LINE OUT L/R jacks
This is a direct out connector for connecting to your recorder or PA system.
The polarity is as shown in the diagram at the end of this manual.
*When you are using Chorus function, the "Line Out R" outputs inverted cho-
rus mixed signal whereas the "Line Out L" outputs non-inverted chorus mixed
signal.T35's internal speaker outputs non-inverted chorus mixed signal(same
as the L out).
The level of LINE OUT can not be adjusted by the
Volumes and EQs will function.
17. GND LIFT switch
The setting of this switch specifies whether pin 1 of the direct out connector
will be connected to the electrical ground of the T35 itself. If your equipment
is connected in a complex way and a ground loop is causing hum, using this
switch to disconnect the ground will reduce the hum.
18. POWER switch
This switch turns the power on/off. When you are not using the amp, please
leave it turned off.
19. HEADPHONES/LINE OUT jack
This is a stereo 1/4" jack that outputs a mono audio signal. You can connect
to an external mixing console or similar equipment.
*If you're using headphones or external equipment with this output, no sound
will be heard from the internal speaker.
