Press SET to set the announce-only mode on/off and the setting will be
announced once more to confirm the selection.
Note that the OGM will be automatically set to the corresponding OGM's accord-
ing to the mode selected.

Press SET to set your selection, voice prompt "Call-screening is On" or
"Call screening is Off" will be announced to confirm your setting.
Ring Type Programming
i)
The ITAD has 4 ring type settings:
2 rings
The incoming call is an swered after 2 rings.
4 rings
The incoming call is answered after 4 rings.

Press SELECT until desired setting —
" on" or "off" is declared. The previ-
ous setting will be announced at the
first time you press this key.
Set Call Screening
1.
Press MENU until "Set Call-screen-
ing" is announced.
2.
Press SET now will announce the cur-
rent setting.
3.
Press SELECT to toggle the choices
("on" or "off"). The existing setting will
be announced the first time that the
key is pressed.

6 rings
The incoming call is answered after 6 rings.
Toll Saver The incoming call is answered after 2 rings only if there are new
messages/memos present in memory, otherwise, answers call
after 4 rings. Thus, if Toll Saver is active and your ITAD rings 3
times when you call, you can hang-up to avoid any long dis-
tance charges.
Quit from menu setting mode
During setting up the ITAD in the menu mode, the user can quit the menu
setting mode by pressing the MAILBOX X key anytime except in OGM re-
cording mode.
The system will exit menu mode automatically if no key is press within 20 s
in menu mode except in minute setting in Day & Time item.
In minute setting of Day & Time setting item, the auto-exit time is 1 minute.
This facilitates the user to set the real time clock.
ii)
To change ring type setting:
1.
Press MENU until you hear "Set Num-
ber of Rings".
2.
Press SET now will announce the cur-
rent setting.
3.
Press SELECT until you hear the de-
sired ring type (2, 4, 6 or toll saver).
The previous setting will be an-
nounced at the first time you press the
key.
4.
Press SET to confirm your choice and
the selected setting is then an-
nounced.
