I Playback will begin from track 1 on the DISC 1. After that disc finishes
playing, the next disc will automatically play.
I After the last track on the fifth disc is played, the CD player stops
automatically.
I When there is no CD in one of the disc trays (1 - 5), the empty tray will be
skipped to the next tray with a CD.
To exchange other CDs whilst playing a disc:
Press one of the s 1 - s 5 buttons of the stopped disc and within 5 seconds,
press the OPEN/CLOSE button and exchange discs.
To remove the discs:
In the stop mode, press the s 1 - s 5 buttons and within 5 seconds, press the
OPEN/CLOSE button.
Auto power on function:
When you press any of the following buttons, the unit turns on.
I DVD/CD button (main unit and remote control): The unit turns on and the
"CD" function is activated.
I 0 button on the main unit or remote control: The unit turns on and playback
of the last function starts (DVD/CD, TAPE, TUNER, GAME).
Starting playback with a desired track

You can play a disc starting with the desired track.

Whilst in the stop mode, press one of the s 1 - s 5 buttons
to select the desired disc and press 0 button to start play-
back.

Press the 5 3 PRESET X X X X X or 2 4 PRESET W W W W W button
to select the desired track and its playback starts
automatically.
I You can also press the 5/3 or 2
control for the same operation.
I You can also select the desired track by pressing the 0 - 9 buttons,
then press 0 button on the remote control.
I The playback of the selected track is started.
When the last track of the disc with the selected track is finished, the
next disc will be automatically started.

To locate the beginning of a track

To move to the beginning of the next track:
Press the 2 4 PRESET W button for less than 1.5 seconds during playback.
I You can skip to any track by pressing the 2 4 PRESET W button
repeatedly until the desired track number appears.
To restart the track being played:
Press the 5 3 PRESET X button for less than 1.5 seconds during playback.
I You can skip to any track by pressing the 5 3 PRESET X button
repeatedly until the desired track number appears.

To locate the desired portion

For fast forward:
Press and hold down the 2 4 PRESET W button for more than 1.5
seconds during playback.
For fast reverse:
Press and hold down the 5 3 PRESET X button for more than 1.5
seconds during playback.
I Three speeds are available. Each time the 5 3 PRESET X or 2
4 PRESET W button is pressed, the speed of fast scan changes in
the following sequence:
Notes:
I Normal playback will resume when the 0 button is pressed.

I When the end of the last track is reached during fast forward, CD will go to
next CD and start playback. When the beginning of the first track is reached
during fast reverse, the unit will enter the playback mode.
