Using the tape deck

Reducing the source signal level

• Default setting: ATT 6DB
Some auxiliary sources may produce a high
signal level which may produce unpleasant
distortion if recorded on the built-in tape
recorder. In such cases, you may need to
reduce the signal level of the line source by
switching on the attenuator.

Switch the system into standby.

Press ENTER.

Use the
(cursor left/right)
buttons to select the attenuation (LINE
ATT) display.
On the front panel use

Press ENTER.
The current setting is shown in the display.

Use the
(cursor up/down)
buttons to select a setting.
On the front panel use
• ATT 6DB – Lowers source signal by 6dB
• ATT 10DB – Lowers source signal by
10dB (EV61 DVD model only)
• ATT OFF – Switches attenuation off

Press ENTER to confirm.
