Phone Operation

5.1

Handsfree Calling

This feature allows you to call without holding the handset in your hand. You
can activate handsfree calling after having pressed the line key
soon as you hear the dial tone or during a conversation.
1. Press the arrow up key
2. Press the arrow up key
3. To end the communication, press the line key
back in the base set.
NOTES:
The handsfree volume is the same as the earpiece volume of the handset.
Prolonged handsfree calling involves high energy consumption reducing bat-
tery time considerably.

Handsfree Volume Adjustment

1. Press the arrow up key
2. Press the volume key
3. Select the desired volume with the numerical keys 1-5. Press the volume

Dialing a Number

a) Normal Dialing
1. The handset is in standby (no tone).
2. Press the line key
3. The line/charge indicator
EXT are displayed.
4. You hear the dial tone.
5. Dial the number you want to call.
6. The number is displayed and called automatically.
7. To end the communication, press the line key
set in its cradle.
