NOTE: If the caller stops speaking for more than 8 seconds or does not speak
loud enough, the answering machine will automatically break the communi-
cation.

8.10 Recording a Personal Message (Memo)

You can leave a personal message on your answering machine. This memo will
be counted as a call. The memo time is limited to 3 minutes.
1. Press the program key

3. You will hear an announcement followed by a long beep.
4. Speak with a loud and clear voice at 5-10 cm from the microphone (7).

3. The phone says SIE HABEN X NACHRICHTEN, Y NEUE NACHRICHTEN (YOU
HAVE X MESSAGES, Y NEW MESSAGES) or SIE HABEN KEINE NACHRICHTEN
(YOU HAVE NO MESSAGE).
4. The phone plays back all messages.
5. At the beginning of each message the phone indicates the date and
time of arrival of the message.
6. After playback of all messages, the phone says ENDE DER NACHRICHTEN
(END OF MESSAGES).
7. During playback you have the following operation possibilities:
• Play back the present message again: shortly press numerical key 1
• Play back the previous message: shortly press twice numerical key 1
• Pause: shortly press numerical key 2

• To end playback, shortly press numerical key 6
• Play back the next message: shortly press numerical key 3
