2-30 Pause Function
When the user dials a number he/she may
for 3 seconds (after dialling at least one figure) then finish dialling the number.
This automatically inserts a pause in the number dialled. The PAUSE function may be sto-
red in the same manner as an ordinary number in the directory's 25 memories.
NB : Key (5)
will not run the PAUSE function if no figure has been dialled before

triggering it.
Modifying the duration of the pause :
CAUTION : The
pause's default setting is a duration of 3 seconds (position 4) as this is how it
works in France. However, modifying this time may prove essential for informed users.
Four pause times
are available :
- Position 1 corresponds to 1 second.
- Position 2 corresponds to 1.5 seconds.
- Position 3 corresponds to 2 seconds.
- Position 4 corresponds to 3 seconds.
To modify the pause duration, follow the operation below :
