E-Mail RX (POP) Settings

These settings are specified when "Authentication Setting" is set to "POP
Before SMTP".

If the port number is set to an inappropriate value, there may be
interference in the network. Do not change the port number unless
specifically requested by the network administrator.

Specifying Settings From the Control Panel
Description
Sets whether to turn on the e-mail reception.
Sets the POP server address used to receive e-mail.
For details on specifying the settings, refer to "POP Server
Address" on page 4-93.
Sets the login name used to connect to the POP server.
Use the keyboard that appears in the touch panel to type in
the login name (up to 63 characters).
Sets the password used to connect to the POP server. Use
the keyboard that appears in the touch panel to type in the
password (up to 15 characters).
Description
Sets whether to turn on authentication.
Set the port number used to communicate with the POP
server. To change the value, press the [C] (clear) key, and
then use the keypad to type in the value (between 1 and
65535).
If the operation delays while receiving mail from the POP
server, mail reception is automatically aborted after a spec-
ified time elapses. Set the time from the point when the re-
ception stops to the point when the mail reception is to be
aborted. To change the value, press the [C] (clear) key, and
then use the keypad to type in the value (between 30 and
300 seconds).
