JPEG ("Joint Photographics Expert Group") defines a wide-
spread graphics format developed by the organisation
of the same name in which the video data of the colour
and grey scales are compressed.

What are folders?

Contrary to audio-CDs, the titles on a CD-R/CD-RW with
MP3, WMA and JPEG files are stored in folders, for instance,
to sort titles according to different genres.
For instance, the structure of an MP3-CD can be as follows
if the MP3 files are stored in folders:
