13 Menu: Telephone Book
Settings
At least 100 phone numbers and names can be stored in the tel-
ephone book and the names are sorted alphabetically, therefore
the telephone book offers an alphabetic search function. Enter-
ing the same name more than once is not accepted, but the same
phone number can be stored with different names. Entering the
same name more than once is not accepted, but the same phone
number can be stored with different names. An entry can con-
sist of a maximum of 32 digits for the number and 16 characters
for the name (refer to Entering Characters / Names starting on
page 33). The beginning / end of the telephone book list is
marked by a dashed line. If a caller is listed in the telephone
book and his phone number has been transmitted at the incom-
ing call, then his name appears on the display.
To open the telephone book press the upper arrow key
Select an entry by using the arrow keys
Dialing: Dial the selected entry by pressing
Pre-dialling is started by pressing
Options:
New: adds an entry.
Edit: edits a selected entry.
Delete: OK deletes the selected entry.
Add to filter: adds the entry to the caller filter list (refer to
Menu: Caller Filter starting on page 45).
Quick Call: direct access to the phonebook entry keys 1...9.
The following characters can be entered by pressing the keypad
keys several times. The entry position is automatically ad-
vanced if no entries are made for a short while or a new charac-
ter is entered. Holding a number key (
period (approx. 2 sec.) or pressing the
capitals to non-capitals and the same action switches back.
