Dialling:

Use the arrow keys to select a list entry. Press
and the
phone number is dialled.
Pre-dialling:
A
If
is pressed for a longer period, the phone number is en-
tered into the pre-dial mode. Digits (e.g. a code) can be added

as required. The phone number is dialled by pressing
. The
pre-dial mode is terminated by pressing Esc.
You can call back directly from the caller list or transfer a
phone number to the telephone book (refer to Menu: Caller
List starting on page 38).
Selection
Press the softkey Menu with the handset in idle state. If there
are new missed calls stored the list will open immediately, oth-
erwise you have to select Caller List.
Making a
This handset can be used to send emergency calls to a certain
SOS Call
telephone number. The number and the text message are
stored in the menu "Telephone Option" (refer to Menu: Tele-
phone Options starting on page 48). To make the emergency
call press the SOS key.
Note: The SOS key will be activated in idle mode only.
Mandown Call
An integrated sensor detects the position of the handset. If the
handset's position changes from upright to horizontal (the angle
of inclination increases), a mandown call is initiated or a message
is sent to a pre-programmed mandown call number. The number
and the text message are stored in the menu "Telephone Option"
(refer to Menu: Telephone Options starting on page 48).
If the handset has detected the mandown condition and the
"Mandown Auto Answer" option is enabled (refer to Mandown
Call starting on page 49), the next incoming call will be automat-
ically answered in hands-free mode with the speaker on.
Tip: The mandown call option can be switched on or off with

the
macro (refer to Menu Shortcuts starting on page 53).
