Sending documents with the Type 1 Function
There is no special operation on the fax machine. It is the same as sending an ordinary fax.
Sending documents with the Type 2 Function
A sender must be selected or a User ID must be entered before the fax machine will begin storing the
document.
DX-1000 Operational Flow:

Set the document(s) in the ADF

Enter the station(s) using the One-Touch keys,
Abbr. #'s and/or numeric keypad and press
START

Enter 00-24 or use the up/down (▼ or ▲) scroll
keys to select a Sender
Ex: 1 2

Press START
The document(s) begin to store into memory with
a file number. Then starts sending to the
Supervisor's email address/fax telephone number
and then your desired destination fax machine.

Note: If START is pressed without selecting the Sender, the machine will not scan the documents.
