To determine what level software you have in your machine, you must print out a Function
parameter list. This print out is generated by entering the Service mode. The Service mode is for
Service personnel only. Making changes in the service mode can cause serious problems!
Please follow printout procedure exactly as described below:
1. Press FUNCTION and
2. Press MONITOR 4 times and
3. Enter
4. Press START
5. Press STOP to return to standby
A Function parameter list will print out. You can check the current ROM version as follows:
Parameter # 060 VERSION:
Main unit firmware
For example: DX-2000 BLV21300AU = version 2.13
Parameter #111 LAN I/F ROM VER:
LAN firmware
For example: OPTLABAV21200AU = version 2.12

Note: If you have trouble determining if your machine has the ROM level to support the Automatic Electronic
Fax Archive System, contact your Authorized Panasonic dealer or the Panasonic Facsimile Hotline.
If your machines ROM level does not support the Automatic Electronic Fax Archive System, contact your
local dealer and request a ROM update. Firmware updates should be done by an authorized Panasonic
representative only!
