1. The DX-1000 produced before June, 1999 requires firmware update. The 3
serial number indicates production year and month. (Ex. 01990400001: April, 1999).
2. All DX-2000's support Type 1 function, however, Type 2 is supported with serial number
01991200001 or later (December, 1999 or later).
