is not displayed,
use the procedures
below to find
the problem.
First, make the following
visual checks.
VISUAL
CHECKS:
(1) Is there
electrical
power
to
the outlet the softener
transformer
is plugged
into?
(2) Is there salt in the storage tank? (3) Is the plumb-
ing bypass
valve(s)
directing
water for soft water
service?

(4) Is the valve drain hose
open to the drain, not elevated
too high, and unob-
structed?
If you do not find a problem
with the visual
checks,
