REMOVING
THE DISCHARGE
CHUTE
1.
Removethe wing knobthat securesthe dischargechute in
place.
2.
Shift thedischargechuteto the rightto unlockit..
3.
Removethe dischargechutefrom the deckdischarge
openingby liftingit off the deck.See Figure1-1.
INSTALLING
THE MULCH
PLUG
1.
Installthe mulchplug intothe deck dischargeopeningby
positioningthe shoulderboltsfoundon the baseof the plug
intothe holeson the deck.The stud on the deck surfacewill
fit throughthe holeon the upperportionof the mulch plug.
See Figure1-2.
2.
Shift the mulchplug to the left to lock it in place,being sure
to engagethe safetyinterlockswitch.
3.
Securethe mulch plug bytighteningthe wing knobon the
stud.
