Electrical - The wall furnace comes equipped with a 5 foot (1.5m) 3 pronged cord exiting the rear left side of the wall furnace, for con-
nection to an approved 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 15A (maximum) wall receptacle.
Vent Pipe: 1-1/2 or 2 inch diameter pipe, 50 feet maximum equivalent length. See pages 25 and 28 to 31. The vent termination elbow
does not contribute to the overall vent length measurement.
* Input ratings are based on sea level operation and may vary at different elevations. No orifice change is required. The appliance will
de-rate automatically 1.5% per 1,000 feet.
** Add 3-3/8 inches for deep shroud.
All vent and combustion air pipes and fittings must be Schedule 40 PVC and meet the ANSI/ASTM Standard D1785. Cement must
conform to ASTM Standard D2564. Empire-approved poly pipe with gasketed joints may also be used. Contact your Empire dealer for
availability.
