Their “mixed-media” capability provides for a variety of configurations including various types of fiber port connectors and modes, as well as allowing a mix of 10/100Mbps RJ45 (copper) ports in the same unit.

The combo quad-port modules are combination of copper and fiber media, available as three 10/100-switched RJ45 copper ports and one 100Mbps switched multimode fiber ST or SC or singlemode SC-type FDX/HDX port.
