7.2 From another digital receiver via RS-232 port 55

To update the ﬁrmware with this method, perform the follow-

ing steps:

1. Plug one end of a RS-232 cable (9 pin D-

sub cable) into the RS-232 port on the

digital receiver, and the other end into

the matching port on the other digital re-

ceiver.

2. Turn on both of them.

3. Select the Installation

to Other IRD menu.

4. Restart the digital receiver.
