2.4.2 Connecting to your television
In addition, if you also have a feedhorn equipped
with polarizer, you should link the polarizer with
your digital receiver. There are three wires from
the polarizer. Connect them to the GND, +5V and
SKEW terminals on the digital receiver.
CAUTION
Wrong connections may break down the polarizer.
It is best to have an antenna installer make the con-
nection to ensure safety of it.
Between all the following connectors of your digital receiver,
we recommend you use the first connector to get best picture
quality. If your television does not have the matching connec-
tor then use the next connector in the following order for best
picture quality.
1. SCART connector (TV)
2. S-Video connector (S-VIDEO)
3. Composite connector (VIDEO)
4. RF connector (RF OUT)
You should configure audio and video settings after connect-
ing up the digital receiver. See §
3.2
for detailed description.
