Connecting to the e-mail
service and retrieving new
messages
1. To connect to the e-mail service
and retrieve new messages that
you have received into your
e-mail account: Press
select Messages,
Retrieve. The messages are saved
in the Inbox folder.
To retrieve new messages and
send the messages saved in the
Outbox folder: press
select Messages
press Options and select
and send.
If the message memory is full,
first delete some old messages
and then retrieve new ones.
2. Press Select to view a new
message or press
later. An unread message is
indicated by
Reading the message later: Press
Menu and select Messages,
E-mail and Inbox.
3. To reply to the displayed
message, press Reply. Select
Original text if you want to
include the original message in
the reply. Confirm or edit the
e-mail address and subject, and
write your reply message.
Press Send and select
to send the message.

Folders for e-mail messages
Your phone has different folders for
e-mail messages.
To open the Inbox folder, press
in standby mode, and select
Messages, E-mail
To open any other e-mail folder,
press Menu in standby mode, and
select Messages, E-mail
folders.
• Inbox is the folder where the
phone saves the e-mail messages
that you have retrieved from your
e-mail account.
While reading a message, you can
press Options, for example, to
delete or forward the message,
reply to it, move it to the
folder, mark it as unread, view its
details or view its next or
previous page.
• Outbox is the folder where the
phone saves the e-mail message
that you are writing if you press
Send and select
While reading a message, you can
press Options for example to edit
the message.
• Sent items is the folder where the
phone saves sent messages.
• Drafts is the folder where you can
save unfinished messages.
• Archive is the folder where you
can save messages for later use.
