during a call
You can press
Options
the following functions during a call:
Mute
or Unmute,
End
calls, Contacts, Menu,
Unhold,
New call
(network service),
Conference
(network service),
Private call
(network service),
Answer, Reject,
Swap
service),
Send
DTMF,
Handset,
Lock
keypad,
(network service), Headset,
Handsfree, Record.
Select
Send DTMF
to send DTMF tone
strings, for example, a password.
Key in the DTMF string, or search
for it in the contacts list. To key in
a wait character (w) or a pause
character (p), press
repeatedly.
Transfer
to connect the held call
to the active call and to
disconnect yourself from the call.
Headset
or
Handsfree
the active call to the respective
compatible enhancement
connected to the phone.

■ Using the loudspeaker

The phone has a loudspeaker that
allows you to use the phone hands
free during a call. Do not hold the
phone to your ear during
loudspeaker operation.
Important! Do not hold the
phone near to your ear
when the loudspeaker is in
use because the volume
may be extremely loud.
• To activate the loudspeaker
during a call: Press
select Loudspeaker, or press
Loudsp.
if available. When the
loudspeaker is active,
shown at the top of the display.
• To deactivate the loudspeaker:
Press
Options
and select
Handset, or press
available.
If a compatible car kit, such as
the CK-1W, or headset, such as
the HS-3, is connected to the
phone, the
Handset
replaced with
Handsfree
Headset, and the selection key

changes to
Heads., respectively.
