    UNATTENDED MACHINE. Never leave the machine running unattended. Like all machines there is danger associ- ated with the Model G0538. Accidents are frequently caused by lack of familiarity or failure to pay attention. Use this machine with respect and caution to lessen the pos- sibility of operator injury.

    Tug the hose to ensure it does not come off. Figure 6. Dust port. DO NOT operate the Model G0538 without an adequate dust collection system. This saw creates substantial amounts of wood dust while operating. Failure to use a dust collec- tion system can result in respiratory illness.

Always refer to the table below when determing the appropriate throat plate, sanding drum, and spindle washer size for a particular sleeve.

    Clean⁄vacuum dust buildup from inside the sander body and off the motor. -16- Cleaning Cleaning the Model G0538 is relatively easy. Follow the Sleeve Installation instructions on Page 15, taking special care to clean every area thoroughly. However, sawdust and other particles can also work their way under the rotation mark plate.
