    DVR-16TH Product Key Features The DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series offers advanced features not typically found in standard multiplexers. It integrates the full features of a DVR, a multiplexer and a video server (by using the software SpecoRemote™). The key features of the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series are listed as follows.

    Selecting Video Format The DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit is designed to operate under either NTSC or PAL video formats. Please contact a qualified service person to perform the installation procedure.

    If you plan to install any short-term external devices, such as USB DVD+RW, USB Hard Disk Drive, etc, to the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series and want to use them as part of the unit system, make sure those devices are connected only after the DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH is powered up.
  • Page 19 A group of BNC connectors is provided for video input streams from installed cameras. The number of connectors equals to the number of channels. The DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit has 4/ 8/ 16 BNC connectors on the rear panel, respectively.

The Audio In connectors are offered for connecting audio source devices (e.g. external amplified microphone) to the unit.     User’s Manual Dome Control The DVR-4TH/ 8TH/ 16TH series unit allows the user to control a dome camera via the front panel. In Live mode, users can press a CHANNEL key to display the corresponding dome camera in full screen. To enter Dome Control mode, press the DOME key and the hint screen will be displayed.
